You may have gotten started with Edmodo in one of Wanda Williams's sessions at Tech Meet today. Edmodo helps teachers connect by offering a wide variety of communities to join.
Many of the communities focus on a specific subject, and members share resources and ideas relevant to classes within those content areas. Other communities have been developed by online content providers such as Khan Academy, Glogster, Discovery Education, and many more.
The more active you are on Edmodo, the more opportunities you will have to join communities. Based on your activity, Edmodo will eventually begin suggesting communities that may cater to your interests.
